VERGE went along, buzzing with excitement to her concert in London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire, Jessie was clearly happy to be home, not only on UK soil but back in her own turf, London. The show was electric, her energy almost insane. With her name in lights above her, (something she’s always dreamed about) Jessie confidently went into her hour and half set, wearing a customized fierce leotard with sparkly heels, and as always her Mystic Meg hair do and fuscha pink lips.
Connecting with each and every member in the crowd with her charisma, humour and down to earth personality; Jessie shared jokes, dance moves, funny faces, awkward conversation (she talks a lot when she’s nervous) and of course her breath taking voice.
The pleasant surprise of the night came from Jessie’s supporting act, Encore. The trio, who are set to release their debut single in July, owned the stage with their smooth vocals and energetic rap performances, backed by some serious beats to get the crowd moving.
